Terms of Service
Last updated · October 2026
These terms cover your use of cloudlyft.io. Paid work is governed by our written proposal and, where applicable, a signed services agreement. If those documents conflict with this page, the signed documents win.
1. Using this site
You may read, share and quote this site. You may not scrape it at scale, attack it, or copy its design and copy to present them as your own. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the site at any time, without notice.
2. Information, not advice
Everything here — benchmarks, dashboards, client outcomes — is general information about our practice. It is not advice for your environment until we confirm it in writing for your engagement.
3. Services are set by agreement
Scope, deliverables, fees, response targets and service levels exist only in a written proposal or statement of work. Screenshots, sample dashboards and uptime figures on this marketing site are illustrative and are not a warranty or a contractual service level.
4. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the accounts, credentials and authorisations you give us, for the lawfulness of the data in your systems, and for your own backups. You agree not to ask us to do anything unlawful, and to give us the access we need to do the work.
5. Fees and late payment
Invoices are payable on receipt unless the proposal says otherwise. We may pause work and suspend monitoring on overdue accounts, and charge interest on late amounts where the law allows. Fees exclude taxes and third-party costs unless stated.
6. A licence, not a sale
Our templates, runbooks, tooling and documentation remain our property. You receive a non-exclusive licence to use the deliverables we create for you, effective once they are paid for. Third-party products and open-source components keep their own licences.
7. No guarantee of uninterrupted service
We monitor, alert and respond with care, but no monitoring service can prevent every incident. Except where a signed agreement says otherwise, services are provided as they are, without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability.
8. Liability is limited
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to this site or to the services is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect loss, lost profits, lost data or business interruption. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
9. You cover us for your data and instructions
You agree to defend and indemnify Cloudlyft against claims, fines and costs arising from the data you provided, the instructions you gave us, or your breach of these terms or of applicable law.
10. Suspension and termination
Either side may end an engagement as set out in the applicable agreement. We may suspend services immediately if we reasonably believe continuing would be unlawful, unsafe, or a risk to another client. Fees for work already performed remain payable.
11. Québec law and trademarks
These terms are governed by the laws of Québec and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, and the courts of Montréal have exclusive jurisdiction. AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, Kubernetes and other product names belong to their owners; mentioning them implies no partnership. Questions: legal@cloudlyft.io.
